Office of General Counsel
The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for all legal issues affecting the Â鶹ֱ²¥. The office’s responsibilities include: monitoring federal and state legislation to ensure the Â鶹ֱ²¥ is in compliance with its legal obligations; assisting in formulating and implementing institutional strategies to avoid future legal problems; overseeing litigation involving the Â鶹ֱ²¥; reviewing contracts between the Â鶹ֱ²¥ and outside vendors or agencies; coordinating the response to subpoenas and other requests for information; reviewing proposed policies and procedures; and handling zoning, tax and other issues relating to the Â鶹ֱ²¥’s real estate.
