The philosophy program at The Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ has educated a number of students who have gone on to successful careers in academia and elsewhere. Here are a few examples:
Steven Barbone (Âé¶¹Ö±²¥, BS, Human Services and Philosophy 1982; Marquette Âé¶¹Ö±²¥, PhD, Philosophy 1997) is an associate professor of philosophy at San Diego State Âé¶¹Ö±²¥.
Alexander Bertland (Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ BA Communication, Philosophy and History 1989; Emory Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ MA Philosophy 1993, PhD Philosophy 1996) is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Niagara Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ and Department Chair.
Deborah Campbell (Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ BA Accounting, Minor in Philosophy, Summa Cum Laude 1986; Binghamton Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ MA Philosophy 1990; Binghamton Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ PhD Philosophy 1994) is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Christopher Newport Âé¶¹Ö±²¥.
Christina M. Drogalis (Âé¶¹Ö±²¥, B.A., 2008, Philosophy and Political Science; Loyola Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Chicago, M.A., 2011, Philosophy) is a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at Loyola Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Chicago.
Timothy J. McGrew (Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ BA Philosophy 1988; Vanderbilt Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ PhD Philosophy 1992) is a Professor of Philosophy at Western Michigan Âé¶¹Ö±²¥. For more, see .
