Order Pro Deo Et Universitate
The Order Pro Deo et Universitate recognizes faculty and staff for 10 and 20 years of service at The Â鶹ֱ²¥.
History of the Order
In June 1961 the Very Reverend John J. Long, S.J., President, formally created and established at The Â鶹ֱ²¥ the Order Pro Deo et Universitate for vicennial service, and at the annual Commencement of the same year conferred this distinction upon thirteen venerable members of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Faculty, the Charter Members of this Order.

Employees who reach 10 years of service are recognized with:

- A certificate of recognition
20 Years of Service
Employees who reach 20 years of service are recognized with:
- A Â鶹ֱ²¥ crest 20 year pin
- A certificate of recognition
- A Â鶹ֱ²¥ crest medal
- Inclusion on a commemorative plaque displayed in The Pro Deo Room - 1st floor of The Weinberg Memorial Library
