Dr. Jenkins is chairman of the Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity and Sociology Department. He is also the founding executive director of the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥'s Center for the Analysis and Prevention of Crime (CAPoC). He recently served as the Director of Academics on the creation of a Bachelor of Security Sciences program for a foreign ministry of interior. Dr. Jenkins earned his Ph.D. from Rutgers School of Criminal Justice, under the mentorship of famed "broken windows" theorist George Kelling. In 2017, Jenkins served as a Fulbright Scholar with the London Metropolitan Police. He’s published work on police-community relations and police organization, including two books titled Police Leaders in the New Community Problem Solving Era (Carolina Academic Press, 2015) and Policing the World: The Practice of International and Transnational Policing (2nd edition) (Carolina Academic Press, 2018).
